In Jan of 2007, I wrote in a post that, "There is a disturbing trend occurring in Boston right now -- its homicide victims are getting younger and its tired strategies are getting older."
An article, graphic and chilling slideshow in today's Globe present stats showing that not only were these fears confirmed, but that the number of shooting victims under the age of 17 has actually tripled in the last half decade.
How soon we forget.
